Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have split and it shocked their fans when it was first announced. It was even more shocking when the former confirmed his relationship with former “The Voice” co-judge Gwen Stefani, just a few months after their split. This was because it triggered suspicions that the pair separated due to Blake’s cheating.
In any case, Blake Shelton got into a relationship first after splitting with Miranda Lambert. The latter started a new relationship much later and dated Anderson East. While Blake is still with Gwen, Miranda and Anderson did not last long and went on to date another musician, Evan Felker.
Now, at the time when “The House That Built Me” singer was still in a relationship with Anderson East, In Touch Weekly reported that she wants to beat her ex-husband and go to the altar first to get married.
“They are pushing to run away and elope by year’s end,” a source supposedly told the magazine. “Though they’ve long dreamed of a countrypalooza-type wedding with performances by some of the biggest names — and their closest friends — in the country music industry, they’ve shifted their focus.”
It was added that Miranda and Anderson would make time during the holidays so they could elope and proceed with their honeymoon. On the other hand, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are said to be trying to have a baby already via an IVF procedure then they will tie the knot along the way.
Gossip Cop is refuting this story by saying that there was never a race to the altar between Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert. The former couple is not trying to marry quickly in order to beat each other and this was proven when a year after the report was written, none of the two is married yet.
In fact, Miranda Lambert and Anderson are not together anymore and she recently broke up with her latest BF, Evan Felker. She is now single and expressed that she is happier this way. As for Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani has said multiple times that they do not have plans to get married yet.
