“Blue Bloods” season 9 is a fictional crime show that is loved by viewers. The love that it gets from the viewers became more apparent when CBS renewed it for another installment.
The procedural drama will have lots of changes when it returns to television in its primetime slot. Below are details that you should know before “Blue Bloods” season 9 premieres.
When Is It Coming Back?
“Blue Bloods” season 9 has been scheduled to air its first episode on Sept. 28 at 10 p.m. EST, as per Deadline. Although many shows have been avoiding this timeslot because they see it as a time when there are fewer viewers, CBS still placed the series in this slot, and the show proved that the belief is wrong for it continues to have impressive ratings.
Who Will Be in It?
“Blue Bloods” season 9 is expected to be back on the air with its whole cast members intact. There might be new faces too, and as previously reported, Bebe Neuwirth will appear on the show for at least three episodes. She will be playing a new inspector general.
Storyline -- What Will Happen?
The focus of “Blue Bloods” season 9 is going to be on Frank Reagan’s (Tom Selleck) family. There will be marriage, new loves and work promotions where his children are involved.
For starters, fans can look forward to Jamie Reagan (Will Estes), and Eddie Janko’s (Vanessa Ray) wedding as they got engaged in the season 8 finale. There is also a chance that Donnie and Frank himself will find new loves in the drama.
Meanwhile, “Blue Bloods” season 9 already started filming for a new batch of episodes. In July, Marisa Ramirez, who plays Det. Maria Baez, revealed that she is back at work via an Instagram post.
“Missing family on the West Coast! The flowers @bellagio were beautiful! Violet loved it! Back to work next week! Season 9 here we come #bluebloods #season9 #DannyandBaez #cbs,” she wrote.
