CHICAGO, April 17, 2018 -- BrandMuscle, a high-tech marketing innovator delivering big-brand marketing to local businesses, announced today the hiring of three new sales leaders as part of the company’s expansion strategy.
Elizabeth Journell has joined the leadership team as Executive Vice President of Sales. She will be responsible for leading and growing the consumer brands business at BrandMuscle and will help position the organization’s long-term trajectory. Michele Joyce and Kevin Coleman were also recently hired to join Journell as Vice Presidents of Sales. Journell, Joyce, and Coleman will provide immeasurable amounts of expertise and leadership as the company accelerates into new markets and unlocks potential for prospective clients.

Over the past 18 months, BrandMuscle has made other notable changes to the sales organization, including appointing Jake Latta as Vice President of Sales and James Morse as Sales Engineer. Both bring deep experience and strategic expertise of BrandMuscle’s solution to the team.
Journell comes to BrandMuscle with more than twenty years of experience and proven success in sales and marketing at Fortune 1000 brands. Prior to BrandMuscle, Journell served as the Executive Director of Business Development for The NDP Group where she managed the U.S. territory for the Foodservice operator practice, exceeding subscription revenue by $5 million annually. She’s also held key sales leadership roles at Fishbowl, Technomic and Claritas, and worked on some of the world’s leading restaurant chains including Applebee’s, Burger King, Taco Bell and more. Journell graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Psychology and Economics.
Joyce brings extensive experience and proven success selling a variety of software solutions including SaaS, cloud, mobile, artificial intelligence, marketing information systems, enterprise asset management and connected intelligence. Prior to BrandMuscle, Joyce was a trusted sales leader at Market Logic Software, IBM, Telogis and SAP America. Joyce graduated from The University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Business Administration.
Coleman brings a wealth of inside sales management experience, having led sales at MarketWired, Shopertrak and Digsite. Coleman will be focused on growing the Beverage/Alcohol and Consumer Packaged Goods segments of BrandMuscle’s business. He graduated from Xavier University in Cincinnati with a BA in Advertising/Marketing.
