Britney Spears had a meltdown recently and it was reported that she was brought to a rehabilitation facility to be assisted as she goes through another mental health crisis. Now, the singer wants to explain to fans about what happened to her and demanding for an interview to be set up for her so she can personally recount her ordeal.
According to Radar Online, the tell-all interview was not approved by Britney’s parents so the singer is at odds with them. On the side of the singer’s mother and father, they said that they are only trying to protect their daughter so they are against the idea of her speaking out about her mental health issues.
“Things are getting tense between Britney and Lynne right now,” the insider said. “Britney wants to do an interview because she knows her fans are so worried but she’s (Britney’s mom) up against opposition due to the fact that every interview she’s done after a meltdown is always a hot mess.”
The tipster added that before it Britney Spear’s father Jamie who has always kept a tight leash on her but now it is her mom Lynne. “Lynne literally shut her down on an interview and also is talking to Britney like she’s a little kid.”
Gossip Cop shot down this report as the story is not just suspicious but full of flaws as well. The publication stated that the article did not indicate what subject that Britney Spears wants to talk about in her supposed “tell-all” interview. There was no mention of a particular thing that the singer would like to publicly address so without such important detail, it is easy to see that this is a made up narrative.
Lastly, while it can be true that Britney Spears was brought to a rehabilitation center for mental health issues, it seems her situation is not that bad enough that she needed to explain everything to her fans. It is more likely that she would prefer to keep things private especially if it is about personal matters.
