Jason Bull may have just enjoyed his time on jury duty while defending a mother who killed her daughter's own murderer in the last episode, but “Bull” season 3 episode 3 looks to be throwing a left hook that Bull will have a tough time dodging.
The “Bull” season 3 episode 3 promo clip after last night's episode mentions Bull taking on a highly controversial case about a police officer shooting an unarmed man. While the case details have not been particularly touched upon by the promo clip, it looks like its politically messy nature will be the primary hurdle for Bull during the episode.
As per the “Bull” season 3 episode 3 preview, Bull will have to tread the delicate situation of a female cop shooting a male civilian who allegedly assaulted her. Fans can expect the trial consultant to have to figure out ways to find a unifying theme that can convince a jury of Americans from different backgrounds to give the female cop a verdict of not guilty.
But Jason Bull's worries for “Bull” season 3 episode 3 doesn't stop at just convincing the jury of the police officer's innocence. A short scene in the promo clip also teases viewers about Bull having his own doubts about his client's innocence. If the police officer had other intentions regarding the victim when the incident occurred, it could get messy for the trial consultant.
Another potential complication is if the police officer gets boxed into a situation where she is definitely innocent, but an unknown trump card suddenly makes itself known as Bull leans into his client as the due date occurs. If Bull loses the case in “Bull” season 3 episode 3, fans may be looking at a case that might merit a story arc in itself.
Fans excited for how the show will approach another highly political episode and how Jason Bull will navigate the webs of his newest case can look forward to “Bull” season 3 episode 3 when it airs on Oct. 8.
