Burger King Hosts VMA Events and Celebrates Fifth Year of Collaboration with MTV and Paramount
Burger King has been promoting the VMAs through various events, including a block party at Domino Park in Brooklyn and a pop-up at the UBS Arena on September 11. These events allowed fans to try the Frozen Pink Lemonade for free, while Royal Perks members could enjoy the drink by purchasing anything over $1 on the app.
This is Burger King and MTV's fifth year of collaboration. Burger King’s Chief Marketing Officer, Pat O’Toole, expressed excitement over the partnership, which included a 75-second short film featuring Sean Paul and Les Twins that will air during the VMAs. This unique collaboration continues Burger King's tradition of pairing its iconic menu items with popular entertainment events.
In addition to this collaboration, Burger King has had notable partnerships with major franchises such as Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Barbie, and Stranger Things, making them a go-to brand for movie and TV tie-ins. With its latest VMA-themed offerings, Burger King once again proves its ability to create fun, limited-time menu items that resonate with fans.
