E-Biz and News Media Chemicalnews signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to work closely in support of small and medium-sized companies in the local chemical industry.

E-Biz Inc. owns the B2B platform called Chemknock, which combines advanced IT technologies in the chemical industry to lower transaction costs and expand exchanges among small and medium-sized enterprises.

Lee Tae-young, CEO of E-Biz, said they would strive in partnership with Chemicalnews to fulfill the role of a platform that can grow through co-prosperity and cooperation in the chemical industry.

Chemknock recently won the grand prize in product and service development at the 2020 Public Data Utilization Startup Competition held by Ulsan City on the 15th with its study entitled "Chemical Product Search and Transaction Brokerage Service."

Chemknock, which does not charge transaction fees, is preparing to open a registration agency service for companies in the chemical industry that have difficulty registering their products and a platform to support overseas exports.

There are 1754 chemical companies and 13637 products registered with Chemknock.

Chemicalnews, which reports about people's aspirations for a healthy future and environment and the chemical issues that impact lives, was selected as a news content provider by the SK Nate portal in the first half of this year. It supplies news content and other articles to Google Newsstand and Newspic.

Chemicalnews CEO Yoo Min-jung said they would quickly convey the news of small and medium-sized companies to help them achieve sales locally and internationally.
