CHICAGO, April 26, 2017 -- Concentra expanded its relationship with Allscripts (NASDAQ:MDRX) to include Allscripts Practice Management with the goal of improving practice efficiency and productivity.
Concentra provides occupational medicine, urgent care, physical therapy and wellness services for more than 300 medical centers in 38 states in the U.S. Allscripts and Concentra have partnered since 2011 to address the unique EHR needs for urgent care and occupational medicine. Concentra uses Allscripts TouchWorks EHR and Allscripts FollowMyHealth.
“Allscripts has empowered our network to use reliable and efficient workflows to enhance productivity,” said Keith Newton, Chief Executive Officer, Concentra. “Allscripts Practice Management will further strengthen these workflows so our clinicians can continue to focus on their main goal – providing high quality care to their patients.”
Allscripts Practice Management introduces workflows to medical practices that can enable a practice to effectively and efficiently boost office efficiency, monitor patient accounts and measure practice performance. Concentra also uses Allscripts TouchWorks EHR, a powerful, multi-specialty ambulatory solution and Allscripts FollowMyHealth, a patient engagement platform that enables patients and their families to stay connected with physicians and become active members of their health by collaborating with their care team.
“In today’s competitive environment, medical practices face unprecedented demands to reduce clinical and administrative costs while meeting tighter compliance, quality and security mandates,” said Paul Black, Allscripts Chief Executive Officer. “Allscripts looks forward to continuing to work with Concentra to improve its clinical and financial outcomes and help empower better delivery of care to its patient population.”
