MENLO PARK, Calif., May 24, 2017 -- Corium International, Inc. (Nasdaq:CORI), a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development, manufacture and commercialization of specialty transdermal products, announced today that it intends to offer and sell, subject to market conditions, shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. The offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering. All of the shares will be offered and sold by Corium. Corium also expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the shares of its common stock offered in the public offering.
Jefferies LLC is acting as the sole book-running manager for the offering.
Corium intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for product development and general corporate purposes, which may include funding research and development, increasing its working capital, reducing indebtedness, acquisitions or investments in businesses, products or technologies that are complementary to its own and capital expenditures.
The public offering will be made pursuant to the shelf registration statement on Form S-3 that was filed by Corium with the Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") on December 30, 2015 and declared effective by the SEC on January 20, 2016.
