With March getting nearer and nearer, fans are excited to know on what is going to come their way for the upcoming episodes of the hit Superhero TV series ‘Daredevil’. And with the new trailer for the second season of "Daredevil" already released, it has revealed some interesting details about the episodes to come. So read on.
A new season means new characters to welcome for all us especially for the protagonist himself. Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox) will be welcoming yet another competition in Hell’s Kitchen in the form of Frank Castle AKA Punisher (Jon Bernthal). The Punisher is a vigilante like Daredevil, but unlike the Man without Fear, Castle has no reservations about doling out lethal punishments to criminals.
He is said to have an extensive and impressive military resume and training that far exceeds anything Matt Murdock has ever gone through, and he might be a threat to Murdock if they would meet which is highly possible. And another bonus from the teaser is the trailer started out with the scene from Castle’s house. It also showed a photo of Castle with his daughter, which reveals that his family will play a big role in his character's development.
Not only will Murdock have to deal with a new villain, but he will also have to face the comeback of his past flame. The trailer reveals Elektra, who will be played by Elodie Yung, who seemingly broke into Murdock’s home. Comic books fans have been waiting anxiously to see fan favorite Elektra on the screen, now they'll finally get what they want.
But it would seem that Murdock’s love life might be in for a treat as the trailer hints at the possibility of Murdock and Karen Page, played by Deborah Ann Woll, becoming more than colleagues. A scene shows Matt touching Karen's face in an intimate way.
Find out what happens next and stay tuned for more updates as "Daredevil" season 2 is expected to premiere on Netflix this Mar. 18.
