“Doctor Who” season 11 is already ending and there is one more episode to go before it goes off the air. The finale’s promo videos are already up and as they suggest, the last chapter for this season will bring the Doctor and her Tardis team to an epic adventure.
It was also hinted that some old alien foes may be coming back to battle it out with Doctor Who and the gang. As per Express, those who are likely to make an appearance in “Doctor Who” season 11 finale are T’Zim-Sha/Tim Shaw (Samuel Oatley), Krasko (Joshua Bowman) and Rosa. However, the first-mentioned villain is being predicted to be the one who will fight with the Doctor for a big concluding battle.
As per BBC America, the official plot summary for “Doctor Who” season 11 episode 10 titled “The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos” reads: “On the planet of Ranskoor Av Kolos lies the remains of a brutal battlefield. But as the Doctor, Graham, Yaz, and Ryan answer nine separate distress calls, they discover the planet holds far more secrets.”
In addition, “Who is the mysterious commander with no memory? What lies beyond the mists? Who or what are the Ux? The answers will lead the Doctor and her friends towards a deadly reckoning.”
“The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos” will be a major event for the Tardis team as they find themselves stuck somewhere and they cannot avoid it. Likewise, they are in a dangerous battlefield and they had to deal with monstrous enemies to save others.
“Doctor Who” season 11 episode 10 will feature Mark Addy (Paltraki), Phyllis Logan (Andinio), Percelle Ascott (Delph) and Jan Le (Umsang) as guest stars. The finale is directed by Jamie Childs and written by Chris Chibnall who is also the series’ showrunner.
“Doctor Who” season 11 episode 10 will air on Dec. 9 at 6:25 p.m. on BBC One. Fans will also be treated to “Doctor Who” Christmas special that will be shown on Jan. 1. Finally, season 12 might take longer to arrive and it will probably be in 2020.
