SILICON SLOPES, Utah, Jan. 25, 2018 -- Domo announced today that it has been named a finalist in the 2017-2018 Cloud Awards Program (https://www.cloud-awards.com) in the Best Cloud Business Intelligence or Analytics Solution category. Additionally, Domo customer Jefferson Health was named a finalist in the Most Innovative Use of Data in the Cloud category.
The recognition of Domo and Jefferson Health showcases the use case for Domo, whereby data and insights are placed directly into the hands of everyone across an organization to enable better decision-making and optimize business results. Under the direction of Neil Gomes and through the use of Domo, Jefferson Health’s DICE Group, a digital, innovation, and consumer-focused agency that aims to improve consumer experience and bring value to Jefferson Health and its patients, was able to improve customer relations and ultimately enhance the entire health care experience for patients.
“It can’t be overstated how valuable it is to have centralized data available at the tip of my fingers,” said Neil Gomes, the Chief Digital Officer of Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health. “For example, in one case, after using Domo, we were able to significantly speed up insurance authorizations for chemotherapy, which allowed our patients to be seen sooner and ultimately create a better experience for them all around.”
The Cloud Awards Program celebrates excellence and innovation in the rapid-growth cloud computing market. The awarding body accepts applications worldwide, covering the U.S., Canada, Australasia and EMEA. Organizations of any size are accepted for consideration in the program, including those from governmental bodies, start-ups and established multinationals. Over 300 organizations entered, with entries coming from across the globe.
“We have seen an overwhelming level of engagement from organizations of all sizes, each showing their commitment to cloud-based technologies and leveraging them in their own unique way,” said Larry Johnson, Cloud Awards organizer. “It is clear that while the SaaS category remains as hotly contested as ever, a new breed of competition for excellence is emerging worldwide. We can only wait until 2018 to see which organizations emerge as final Cloud Award winners in their chosen category.”
Final winners will be announced on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, and the full shortlist can be viewed here: https://www.cloud-awards.com/2018-shortlist.
