‘Dragon Ball Fighter Z’ Latest News, Update: Is Kid Goku Worth It?

“Dragon Ball Fighterz” has recently added several iconic characters into the game, and one of them is Kid Goku. The small Saiyan was launched this May 9 and players are having a lot of fun with the character, International Business Times reported.

While it was initially assumed that Kid Goku is going to be a poor addition to “Dragon Ball Fighterz,” that assumption has now been dispelled as the tiny Saiyan is touted as one of the best DLC characters right now. The best way to inject him into your roster is in mid or anchor rather than taking point.

Kid Goku has a lot of potential if played right; is a great asset to a team, and can dish out a massive amount of damage if you have the meter to spend. Real high low, double super and solo snap are just some of his moves. “Dragon Ball Fighterz” has delivered quite the character with Kid Goku as he’s a pretty much complete fighter overall.

But arguably the most fun factor about Kid Goku is the fact that all of his special attacks can be done in the air or on the ground, which is quite nuts. Creative players are going to have so much fun with this one, especially with how they’ll set up his combos. His reverse Kamehameha alone grants him insane amounts of mobility, perfect for getting in and getting out of tough situations. Having said all of these, Kid Goku isn’t actually the best DLC character that’s been added to “Dragon Ball Fighterz.”

That title belongs to Bardock with Zamasu coming in second place. Of course, this isn’t absolute as other players may prefer other characters as well. Be that as it may, Kid Goku being added to “Dragon Ball Fighterz” will only provide more dynamic gameplay for the game’s hardcore following.

Which brings us to its price. Each DLC character in “Dragon Ball Fighterz” Pass 2 can be purchased for $4.99, or you can opt to buy all six of them for 24.99, Newsweek reported. Again, Kid Goku is a great mid or anchor, so if you’re someone who’s been looking to fill those spots, you might be interested in taking the character for a spin.
