Dunkin’ is spicing up Halloween 2024 with the launch of its new Ube Potion Macchiato, a blend of espresso, milk, and purple ube-marshmallow flavors. Alongside this striking drink, Dunkin’ is bringing back its beloved Spider Donut, decked out with fresh purple frosting for the season.
Dunkin’ Introduces Ube Potion Macchiato and Revamped Spider Donut for a Festive 2024 Halloween
Dunkin's 2024 Halloween lineup promises to make the season even more festive, showcasing a brand-new flavor while bringing back fan favorites. While Halloween traditionally takes a backseat to Dunkin’s full fall menu, the chain has always aimed to make the holiday special. Last year, Dunkin' introduced a line of Dunkin'-themed inflatable Halloween decorations, and its famous Spider Donut has become a staple treat each year, alongside the usual pumpkin spice and apple-flavored offerings. This year, Dunkin' is stepping it up by spotlighting the unique and vibrant flavor of ube.
The 2024 Halloween menu, launching on October 16, features a new drink: the Potion Macchiato and a reimagined Spider Donut, according to a press release sent to Tasting Table. The Potion Macchiato, available hot and iced, blends espresso and milk with a striking purple mixture of ube and marshmallow flavors. For those unfamiliar with ube, it is a purple yam from the Philippines, similar in taste to a sweet potato, which has recently gained popularity as a dessert flavor in the U.S. Dunkin’ is embracing this trend just in time for Halloween.
Dunkin’ Revamps Spider Donut with Purple Frosting and Launches First-Ever Halloween Munchkin Bucket for 2024
The revamped Spider Donut will maintain its signature yeasted donut base with a chocolate-glazed Munchkin center but now features a fresh new purple frosting. In addition, Dunkin’s sprinkles will also be decked out in festive chocolate and orange colors, decorating Munchkins and classic donuts.
On the merchandise side, Dunkin' is introducing its first-ever Halloween Munchkin Bucket, a purple-themed container featuring cartoon characters like a pumpkin and a ghost. Customers can purchase the bucket filled with 50 Munchkins or buy it empty for $2, perfect for trick-or-treating Dunkin’ fans. Starting on October 1, Dunkin’ will release a new lineup of Halloween costumes. The collection includes adult and kid versions of the Dunkin' tracksuit from the 2024 Super Bowl commercial, priced at $120 and $80, respectively, as well as a DunKings costume set, complete with a long-sleeve jersey, pink bucket hat, and sunglasses for $44.99. All items will be available at select stores and online, alongside the 6-foot-tall Dunkin' Spider Inflatable return for $55.
With themed drinks, food, costumes, and decorations, Dunkin' offers everything you need to turn your 2024 Halloween into a Dunkin’-inspired celebration.
