Fans all over the world are more than excited to see the return of their favorite master of deduction Sherlock as 'Elementary' returns with a new episode this January 7.
And as always, new year brings new characters to the hit American TV series. After a short winter break, we will get to finally see the stars again as they reprise their roles.
Episode 7 of season 4 will be entitled Miss Taken which could possibly mean many things, say a new character maybe? Speculations have been made that a new character will come and spice things up for our protagonist Sherlock (Johnny Lee Miller) as his potential love interest. Hmm who could that lucky woman be?
Sources cited that Sherlock's love interest will be a woman named Fiona Helbron who is described as a "brilliant and socially awkward software engineer". The two is said to be compatible for each other as both are odd in their own unique ways. And their way of meeting would be through a case where Sherlock and his partner Joan (Lucy Liu) is investigating. The lucky actress that would play Helbron will be Betty Gilpin who we will first get a glimpse in the January 21 episode of the TV series.
Another addition the family will be Virginia Madsen who will play as a former NYPD detective Paige Cowen and would also be the love interest of Captain Gregson (Aidan Quinn). Cowen is forced to leave her position because of a scandal that break through and she is obligated to protect Gregson by keeping their relationship a secret.
Watch out for the new episode of Elementary on CBS, January 7 at 10 p.m.
