“Elite” season 3 is surely coming after Netflix announced its renewal very early. Also, fans do not have anything to worry about because the cast and crew are even done with filming already.
With the quick progress, it only means that it will not be long when Netflix finally releases “Elite” season 3. It could be just a few months away since only the pre-production is left for the third installment to be ready for release.
The series renewal
It can be recalled that it was director Diego Avalos who announced the renewal of “Elite” season 3. This was in August and it is amazing that filming is already finished. Moreover, the dramas’ co-creators Darío Madrona and Carlos Montero promised that the third chapter will be better compared to the previous ones.
"I don't know how much more money the series cost this season, but I have the sense the series achieved a leap in quality,” Oprah Mag quoted Montero as saying when talking about what to expect in the show. “Also, I made the series I wanted to, and that's a rare sensation.”
The storyline for season 3
“Elite” season 3 will show the aftermath of Marina’s death. The students will feel confused with some even feeling guilty so betrayals and hate among them may arise. The viewers may expect to see friends ending their relationships and families are being torn apart as well.
It was already known that Polo is the real killer and with the urging from Ander, he bailed out Nano from the jail as he was falsely accused of being the culprit. Now, in “Elite” season 3, Polo will return to Las Encinas while Nano will run away for fear of being accused again.
Release date and who will back for the new installment
“Elite” season 3 will come back to Netflix in 2020. It will return with the lead cast members that include Samuel (Itzan Escamilla), Polo (Álvaro Rico), Lu (Danna Paola), Ander (Arón Piper), Omar (Omar Ayuso), Carla (Ester Expósito), Nano (Jaime Lorente Lopez), Christian (Miguel Herrán), Nadia (Mina El Hammani) and Guzmán (Miguel Bernardeau). There will be new faces as well and they are Sergio Momo and Leiti Sene.
