Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were recently spotted attending a comedy show in West Hollywood, California. It was said that the couple enjoyed a relaxing night out before “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” host embarks on her comedy tour.
According to Daily Mail, the 60-year-old comedian and talk show veteran is set to hold a total of nine shows in San Francisco, San Diego and Seattle. She will perform in San Diego’s Balboa Theater on Aug. 10 to 12 then she will head to San Francisco for a three-night show at the Davies Symphony Hall, from Aug. 15 to 17.
The last leg of Ellen DeGeneres’ comedy tour has been scheduled for Seattle at Benaroya Hall, happening on Aug. 22 and 23. Netflix is filming the last show in Seattle for a special episode. The popular web-based streaming site spent around $20 million to film and air the comedy program, Forbes reported. The large sum spent on the Netflix special made Ellen DeGeneres the first and only female comedian to get such a huge payout for a single one-woman show.
Meanwhile, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi also had dinner at Craig’s restaurant after watching. It was reported that Kris Jenner and boyfriend Corey Gamble were on a double date with them on that night.
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi will also be celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary this August. They started dating in 2004 and tied the knot at their home in L.A. on Aug. 16, 2008. The couple does not have kids but it was revealed that Ellen DeGeneres really wants to have a baby. When she appeared on Jerry Seinfeld’s “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee” as a guest in June, she told the host that when she was younger, she wanted to adopt a child.
However, Ellen confessed that they talked about it but Portia de Rossi does not want children because she “does not like the squealing when they are in a pool,” adding that her wife prefers to have more horses instead.
