NEW YORK, June 12, 2017 -- An expanded mobile app for the 2017 Marcum MicroCap Conference launched today, offering attendees additional functionality to manage all aspects of their conference participation in real-time.
The Marcum MicroCap Conference will take place June 15-16 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City. More than 2,000 participants from all segments of the microcap market attend the event each year.
New features of this year’s app include profiles of all presenting companies and one-on-one investor meeting schedules, updated in real-time. Company profiles include real-time stock quotes, performance charts, company news, historical financials, investor material, and webcast links. In addition to the conference agenda, maps, and other basic event information, the app also displays notifications about key conference happenings and updates.
David Bukzin, partner-in-charge of Marcum’s SEC Services Practice group and chair of the event, said, “This year, we have expanded the functionality of our mobile app to make the 2017 Marcum MicroCap Conference a more fluid experience for all participants. We will still have a printed guidebook to help set the stage for the conference and to thank our sponsors, but all presenting company information and schedules will be accessed via the app.”
The app was created by mTribe, a developer of mobile apps for conferences, trade shows and associations.
The Marcum MicroCap Conference is presented by Marcum LLP, a top national accounting and advisory firm and the #7 ranked SEC practice in the U.S. Since its launch in 2012, this event has become a nationally recognized forum for publicly traded companies with less than $500 million in market capitalization to network with fund managers and high net worth investors who focus on small cap equities. More than 2,000 participants from all segments of the microcap market attend the Marcum MicroCap Conference each year. For registration and sponsorship information, visit www.marcummicrocap.com.
