MARKHAM, Ontario, Sept. 15, 2017 -- Extendicare Inc. (“Extendicare” or the “Company”) (TSX:EXE) announced that it has declared a cash dividend of C$0.04 per common share of the Company (the “Common Share”) for the month of September 2017, which is payable on October 16, 2017 to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 29, 2017. This dividend is designated as an “eligible dividend” within the meaning of the Income Tax Act (Canada).
Extendicare has a Dividend Reinvestment Plan (the “DRIP”), which provides Canadian resident holders of Common Shares with the opportunity to increase their respective investments at a 3% discount to the volume weighted average trading price of the Common Shares on the TSX for the five trading days immediately preceding the dividend payment date.
