Kia India has set a new industry benchmark, securing a record 13,424 bookings for the updated Seltos on its first day of availability, July 14. The rejuvenated SUV, flaunting refreshed aesthetics and advanced features, received almost 2,000 orders via the innovative K-Code priority delivery initiative, illustrating an invigorated consumer enthusiasm for the model.
Customers can secure their bookings by paying an initial amount of Rs 25,000. This stylish SUV is available in three trims: Tech Line, GT Line, and X Line.
The refreshed Seltos boasts an eye-catching exterior featuring a redesigned front fascia with a new grille, LED headlamps, and modern LED daytime running lights. The front bumper has been reworked to exude a more rugged appeal with its large vents and skid plate. The vehicle's rear showcases L-shaped LED tail lamps, an LED light bar, and a new rear bumper with a grey insert and faux skid plate, complete with dual exhaust tips.
Inside the cabin, the Seltos facelift offers a sleeker dashboard with a dual-screen setup. The digital instrument cluster and the impressive 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment head unit take the driving experience to the next level. Notable features include a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, an 8-way adjustable driver seat, and ambient lighting. This time, the Seltos introduces Level 2 ADAS for an enhanced driving safety experience.
Under the hood, the Seltos is powered by various efficient engine options. Choose from the 1.5-liter petrol variant, the 1.5-liter diesel engine, or the all-new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol option. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, automatic, or CVT, while the turbo-petrol model presents an iMT or a 7-speed DCT.
The overwhelming response to the updated Seltos is a testament to Kia's commitment to excellence. Tae-Jin Park, Kia India's Managing Director and CEO, expressed great confidence in the latest Seltos, firmly believing it will revolutionize the mid-SUV segment. Additionally, Kia is exploring the possibility of extending the K-Code program to future launches, building upon the success it has achieved so far.
