“Fallout: Miami” is going to be the next fan-made world for “Fallout 4,” and its latest trailer proves it is living up to the franchise’s post-apocalyptic theme. Fans should be ready to see hanging corpses, monsters enjoying the beaches of Miami, and a highlighted sketchy building.
Modders of “Fallout: Miami” released the latest video sneak peek on Tuesday. The video also serves as the first-ever official look at the post-apocalyptic version of Miami. While the developers of “Fallout: Miami” retained the city’s signature crystal blue waters and powdery white sand beaches, players will not miss out on the “wasteland” vibe.
Apart from the debris and abandoned buildings around the city, “Fallout: Miami” is also visibly filled with skeletons of people who probably died of hunger. At some point, corpses are also seen hanging by electric cables while monsters are having a blast at the beach. The trailer also previewed Vault activities in the game while also hinting that characters can steal from others to survive.
The latest “Fallout: Miami” trailer also hints at allowing players to explore the Wasteland and go on missions outside their vault. However, before the video ends, the video teaser implies that a certain building could be the focal point of the quests.
“Just do yourself a favor. Don’t go near that building. Something strange is going on and I hate to say it but this might be the beginning of something big,” the “Fallout: Miami” trailer narrator says while the video previews a dark building with more dead bodies inside.
In the “Fallout: Miami” modders’ June Progress Update, they introduced a new “Fallout 4” map called the North Weymouth. This location does not have anyone living within its territories, making it a perfect place where more Sole Survivor activities will commence.
The team of modders working on “Fallout: Miami” has yet to announce a release date. An FAQ sheet posted on Reddit in December 2017 explained that it is difficult to put an exact date for its launch since “‘Fallout: Miami’ is the creation of a number of individuals volunteering their free time.”
“Fallout: Miami” is definitely going to be released on the PC. “Standalone mods” will possibly become available on the Xbox One. Meanwhile, modders explained, “Unfortunately, due to Sony’s policy on the use of external assets, this will not be possible for PlayStation 4.”
