Sneaker enthusiasts are in for a treat as early images of the Air Jordan 6 'Doernbecher' 2024 and the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low 2025 collaboration surface. The Air Jordan 6 features playful pastel tones, while the Nike SB Dunk showcases a trio of sleek colorways.
The Air Jordan 6 'Doernbecher' 2024 Brings Pastel Tones and Heart-Shaped Details to the Iconic Sneaker
Earlier this year, Sneaker News provided an exclusive look at the sneakers set to release as part of the 2024 Nike Doernbecher Freestyle collection. Among the six silhouettes revealed was the Air Jordan 6, marking the first new design since Jordan Dark's 2009 creation. The 2024 version brings a fresh, girl-friendly aesthetic, incorporating pastel tones and heart-shaped details for a new look.
The upcoming Air Jordan 6 Doernbecher features a color palette of white, pink, light blue, and soft green, evoking an Easter-inspired theme. Notably, the traditional perforations on the leather uppers have been replaced by heart-shaped cut-outs, adding a playful element to the design. Metallic accents can be seen on the mid-foot eyelet, lace-lock, and heel "spoiler," while cursive lettering on the toe may spell out the name of the child patient who designed the shoe.
The official unveiling of the Nike Doernbecher 2024 collection is scheduled for October 18, 2024, though a retail release date has yet to be announced. Alongside the Air Jordan 6, the collection will include the Air Max Sunder, Air Pegasus 41, Air 180, and two colorways of the Air Max Dn. First, it looks at these remaining five models, which are expected in the coming weeks.
Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low Returns in 2025 with Three New Colorways and Engraved Details
Supreme, known for its love of obscure Nike silhouettes, is revisiting familiar territory in 2025 with a trio of Nike SB Dunk Lows. Instagram user @thesolesorceror_backup revealed teasers of the upcoming collaboration, showcasing three distinct colorways of the model. All features of the brand’s founding year, "94," are embroidered on the heel, and, for the first time, the Supreme name is engraved into the midsole.
Although complete profile images have yet to be released, early glimpses show a white and grey leather pair, a black suede version with possibly worn-in upper materials and a red sock liner, and a third option in a blue and light khaki. If Supreme sticks to its signature style, we can expect the classic red box logo branding on the insole and italicized type on the tongue.
Whether the to-be seen Dunk Lows are slated for a Spring/Summer 2025 or Fall/Winter 2025 release, with the FW24 season underway, more concrete details will likely emerge later this year or early 2025.
