UNIONDALE, N.Y., Dec. 21, 2016 -- Flushing Financial Corporation (the “Company”) (Nasdaq:FFIC), the parent holding company for Flushing Bank (the “Bank”), announced today that the Bank has introduced video banking services at its branch located at 225 Park Avenue South in Manhattan. This new video banking service called LISA – Live Interactive Service Assistant - is available after the branch closes until 11p.m., Monday through Friday. The announcement was made by John R. Buran, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Buran stated: “This new video banker service enhances our ability to service customers with a personal touch even after our branch has closed. This is our first branch to showcase this new technology with our Universal Banker model and will be our beta site to measure customer reaction to this new way to interact with us. LISA will enable customers to connect with a live banker to assist with servicing requests such as detailed account information or maintenance requests, ATM functionality and debit card limits. We recognize that the role of the traditional bank branch has changed and we want to offer solutions that enable customers to conduct their transactions in an efficient manner while providing an option for personal service when needed.”
