"Fortnite" Season 6 has arrived this week, but Epic Games continues to release updates to improve its gaming experience. Here's what you need to know about the latest patch update.
Currently, the new "Fortnite" Battle Royale update 6.01 is live on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android and PC. Players, expect there additional content in Fortnite Season 6. The newly added content includes a new item for Battle Royale called the Chiller.
The item in "Fortnite" Season 6 is a common trap that can be placed on floors, walls, and ceilings, according to Express UK. The item applies icy feet to teammates and enemies, thus causing them to slide around with low friction.
The update brings improvement motion controls and the Fancy Tomato hitbox has been increased in Nintendo. There were some issues occurred after "Fortnite" Season 6 update went live. Epic told its users that they were aware of the issues, and the team is currently working on partying issues. The developer disabled Goalbound skins temporarily. So if your character is equipped in this skin, it is better to change it until the issues have been resolved.
Epic resolved an issue that caused the Soaring 50s limited-time mode to be temporarily unavailable in the latest "Fortnite" Season 6 update. The developer also fixed an issue that could cause vehicles to become uncontrollable.
New Content Added in 'Fortnite' Season 6
Fortnite Season 6 update brings playground custom options. This mode allows you to change settings such as starting health, time of day, gravity, and more! There is also added item called Chiller. It can be replaced on floors, walls, ceilings.

Expect the improvements to the motion controls for the Switch. You may enjoy this improvement as you may feel it more accurate and responsive. Pets are now hidden along with your character whenever the camera is too close to you.
