With “Fortnite” Season 8 literally being only hours away from launching, players are itching to dive into the new environments and events that they can expect from the update. They have good reason to be excited, as well, because this is going to be the biggest update of the game yet. Clearly, Epic is not waiting around for competitors like “Apex Legends” to steal its thunder.
As GameSpot reports, Epic is gearing up to release its biggest update ever with “Fortnite” Season 8 and fans can expect that it will be chockful of the most engaging features of the game. For this round of the awesome Battle Royale frenzy, the theme will be “Pirates” and there will be treasure involved. What’s more, it would seem that Epic is fully all in, on sending some AI enemies to make life, for players more interesting.
Naturally, there will be some new challenges, new weapons, and new skins that fans can expect in this new update. “Fortnite” Season 8 might even feature a banana skin if the teasers are anything to go by. One can only hope that there will be some pirate-themed weapons coming up. Even if muskets are worthless in a game with automatic rifles, it could still be fun.
As for the remaining challenges that players may not have completed yet, they could have a chance to do so for a short period of time following the launch of “Fortnite” Season 8. They may want to get in on that fast, though, because time is running out. With Epic offering free season passes for the upcoming season in return for completion, players will definitely want to get in on that.
With regards to the increased competition that the game is facing, few seriously believe that any of them are capable of dethroning the undisputed king of Battle Royale. On that note, Epic is not taking any chances by making “Fortnite” Season 8 as enticing to players as possible.
