For those who enjoy playing Fortnite Battle Royale and are members of Amazon Prime or Twitch Prime, there are reasons to rejoice. Free skins are currently available along with a few other neat items that can be used in-game. These freebies can also be available to other players, but they will have to pay for them. This is only the second Twitch Prime package, with more likely to come.
As Forbes notes, Season 4 of Fortnite is off to an excellent start. Not only did it get an incredible amount of coverage due to the Avengers: Infinity War crossover where the game featured Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet, it’s got plenty of loot to give Twitch Prime users for free.
Well, technically, the players would actually need to pay for the monthly subscription to Amazon Prime if they want to get the loot so it’s not really all that free, strictly speaking. Semantics aside, however, the loot includes a new skin, a new pick-ax, a new back bling, and a new emote.
The publication also provides players with instructions on how they can claim these free items in case there are still those who are unclear as to what to do. Basically, they simply need to link their account with Epic Games with their Twitch Prime account, which is as straightforward as it gets. The developers did have a few caveats to share with players, though.
"While you can only claim your Twitch Prime loot on a single platform (PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 or Xbox One), your content is shared and available to use across PC/console and mobile, as long as you use the same Epic account. Content is not shared between Xbox One and PS4, even if you use the same Epic account," Epic Games announced.
This is a monthly offer by Amazon and Twitch with the previous month still being available for some time, Gamespot notes. Those who are interested in even more reasons to get addicted to the game can start subscribing now.
