“Fuller House” Season 4 is already available on Netflix and fans of the family-oriented comedy series have already binge-watch the latest release. Although the fourth installment delivered a heartwarming and hilarious storyline, one particular character is still missing.
Michelle Tanner, which was played by Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen in the original series, has yet to come back from New York. Right now, the chances of the twins agreeing to appear in the sitcom are bleak at best. Both actresses haven’t taken any film project for a while as they’re busy with their fashion empire that is indeed based at the Big Apple. But even with Michelle’s absence, “Fuller House” Season 4 is still a success.
The ending of the fourth installment saw Jimmy (Adam Hagenbuch) and Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) becoming a parent as Kimmy (Andrea Barber) gave birth to their baby girl. While the gender of the baby seems inconsequential at first, it can actually provide some hilarious avenues that writers can exploit. One obvious path they can take is naming the baby Michelle and continue prodding at the Olsen twins for their refusal to do even a cameo. “Fuller House” Season 4 has already set this narrative up by having Kimmy referring to the baby as “squirt,” the same nickname she calls Michelle.
There are also fans out there speculating that Elizabeth Olsen might step in the shoes of her sisters, although the actress has quickly shot down these claims. The actress went on to say that she didn’t want to be involved with the series and it was “weird” that they even considered her for Michelle’s role. Whatever the case, “Fuller House” Season 4 is still a solid release. Right now, the narrative has shifted to the fifth installment and whether or not Netflix will greenlight another season.
