CLEVELAND, March 14, 2016 -- In December, The Center for Health Affairs and CHAMPS Healthcare announced Medworks as the beneficiary of a joint philanthropic effort to be unveiled at The Center / CHAMPS' centennial event being held Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016.
As of Wednesday, Feb. 24, the fundraising team at The Center and CHAMPS are pleased to report they are more than a third of the way to their goal of raising $300,000 for Medworks to launch a restorative dental care program.
To date, sponsorship dollars raised total $63,400, with The Center's 501(c)(3) affiliate matching those dollars 100 percent up to $150,000 raised.
"To me the art of fundraising is having a passion and true belief in what you are trying to accomplish," said The Center / CHAMPS Chief Operating Officer, Phil Mazanec. "In this case our fundraising efforts will help others in great need and in search of their independence."
The Center and CHAMPS are still actively seeking sponsors for their joint philanthropic effort to benefit Medworks' restorative dental care program. Individuals and organizations can participate at many levels of giving.
