All the major Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Wednesday. Gold was trading around $1,313 mark while silver was trading around $15.78 mark.
Tokyo's Nikkei was trading 0.28 pct higher at 20,902.66 points.
Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.44 pct higher at 6,032.14 points.
India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.56 percent higher at 10,995.58 points while BSE Sensex was trading 0.54 points higher at 36,815.55 points.
China, Korea South, Taiwan and Hong Kong banks will remain close.
