FxWirePro: Asian markets slightly up, gold flat at $1,220 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on higher note on Wednesday. Gold was trading around $1,220 mark while silver was trading around $15.45 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 0.64 pct higher at 22,699.50 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.01 pct higher at 6,280.85 points.

Shanghai composite index to open up 0.2 pct at 2,882.51 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 0.4 pct at 3,530.03 points.

Taiwanese stocks was trading around 0.22 percent higher at 11,082.93 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.09 pct lower at 28,557.55 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.11 percent higher at 11,370.22 points while BSE Sensex was trading 0.09 points higher at 37,650.82 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.35 percent higher at 2,303.94 points.
