FxWirePro: Asian markets start a new week on positive note, gold jumps above $1,322 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Monday. Gold was trading around $1,324 mark while silver was trading around $16.47 mark.

Shanghai composite index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,128.37 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 0.2 pct at 3,846.27 points.

Japanese banks will be closed in observance of National Foundation Day.

Australia’s S&P/ASX200 was trading 0.02 pct higher at 5,838.40 points.

Hong Kong’s hang seng was trading 0.58 pct higher at 29,678.00 points.

Taiwan stock was trading around 0.91 pct higher at 10,466.25 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 1.10 percent higher at 2,389.23 points.
