About Eurozone Sentix Investor Confidence 

The Sentix Investor Confidence is a monthly survey which rates the relative six-month economic outlook for the euro zone. The data is compiled from a survey of about 2,800 investors and analysts and shows the market opinion about the current economic situation and the expectations for the next six-month and one-year period. 

The index, released by the Sentix GmbH, is composed by 36 different indicators. A reading above zero indicates optimism, while below zero indicates pessimism.

Usually, a higher reading is seen as positive for the Eurozone, that means positive, or bullish, for the Euro, While a lower number is seen negative or bearish for the common currency.

EUR/USD Spot Analysis: 

EUR/USD was trading at 1.1761 at the time of release. Sentix Investor Confidence is a negative for the single currency and is likely to keep downside pressure on the euro crosses.
