• Australia: Westpac consumer confidence grew by 0.3 percent .

Upcoming:

• Japan: Data for Industrial production in July will be released at 4:30 GMT.

• France: CPI inflation for August will be released at 6:45 GMT.
   
• China: Money supply and loans statistics may get released today.

• Italy: Consumer price inflation for August will be reported at 8:00 GMT.

• United Kingdom: Unemployment report will be published from UK at 8:30 GMT.

• Eurozone: Industrial production for July data will be published at 9:00 GMT.

• Switzerland: Zew survey for expectations will be reported at 9:00 GMT.

• United States: MBA mortgage applications data will be reported at 11:00 GMT, followed by terms of trade at 12:30 GMT. EIA will release weekly oil inventory report at 14:30 GMT.

• New Zealand: Business PMI data will be published at 22:30 GMT, followed by second quarter GDP at 22:45 GMT.
