Data released so far:
- Australia: Consumer inflation expectations declined to 3.3 percent in September from 3.5 percent in August. Unemployment rate in August declined to 5.6 percent.
Upcoming:
- Switzerland: SNB will announce interest rate decision at 7:30 GMT.
- United Kingdom: Retail sales for August will be reported at 8:30 GMT. BoE will announce rate decision at 11:00 GMT.
- Greece: Unemployment rate for the second quarter will be published at 9:00 GMT.
- Eurozone: Trade balance for July and CPI for August will be announced at 9:00 GMT.
- United States: Lots of data from U.S. today. Current account for second quarter will be published at 12:30 GMT, along with New York Empire State manufacturing index, producer price index and retail sales. Weekly jobless claims report will also be released about the same time. Industrial production for August will be reported at 13:15 GMT. EIA will release natural gas inventory report at 14:30 GMT.
