WASHINGTON, March 06, 2018 -- GB Energie LED, a minority, woman-owned business committed to sourcing sustainable energy solutions, today announced it has signed a partnership agreement with RC Energy Group, a corporate and project finance company based in Denver, CO that focuses on financing energy efficiency projects.
Together, the companies will be addressing energy efficiency and lighting rebuild projects, installing high-efficiency LED lighting solutions and updated fixtures in a variety of markets at no up-front capital cost to the customers through an equipment lease and service contract structure. GB Energie LED and RC Energy Group will utilize Revolution Lighting Technologies’ (NASDAQ:RVLT) high performance LED lighting solutions to reduce energy use by more than 65%, increasing light output and providing significant long-term operational and maintenance cost savings. Revolution Lighting offers a broad line of reliable high efficiency indoor and outdoor LED solutions, including tubes, eco thin panels, troffer fixtures, high bays, area flood lighting, wall pack fixtures and lighting controls to address the various lighting requirements. This includes solutions applicable for commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, hospitality, retail, parking, and municipal and roadway sectors.
RC Energy Group is a specialized project and finance company that focuses nationally on the energy sector by partnering with multinational manufacturers of renewable and energy efficiency products. The company has a successful history of financing LED lighting, solar photovoltaic systems, HVAC equipment, co-generation equipment and numerous other energy related assets. To date, RC Energy Group has financed and operates more than 160 commercial energy projects in the U.S. for states, counties, cities, universities, private schools, not-for-profits and commercial customers. Over the past ten years, RC Energy Group has built an experienced and specialized project development team to handle complex project structures, as well as continued asset management and engineering support for its transactions. RC Energy Group provides turn key financial modeling, tax structuring pricing, documentation, billing and collections to its vendor and energy project partners.
“We’re excited to partner with RC Energy Group as a financial catalyst to secure those energy efficiency upgrade projects that (temporarily) lack sufficient long-term budget funding,” said Dr. Gloria B. Herndon, President and CEO of GB Energie LED. “We believe that our experience in delivering high-quality, high efficiency LED lighting solutions, notably Revolution Lighting Technologies, who offer the highest quality LED products in the market today with an experienced, knowledgeable team that is focused on helping our team achieve results on time and within budget, coupled with funding from RC Energy Group, will continue to successfully position us for future revenue opportunities.”
