Rockstar still hasn’t released any new information about “GTA 6” and it’s unclear whether or not the game is being developed within the studio. Of course, this doesn’t stop fans from speculating and spreading rumors on the web.
The most prominent of this is the “Project Americas” narrative claiming that “GTA 6” will allow players to travel from the United States to an undisclosed location somewhere below the border. If this proves true, then it would mean that the sixth installment will have multiple cities for its location.
Of course, everyone should take this information with a grain of salt since the developers over at Rockstar Games hasn’t confirmed anything about it. In fact, they haven’t said anything about “GTA 6” as they’re busy expanding the world of “Red Dead Redemption 2 Online.”
Still, some players in the gaming community are convinced that Project Americas is indeed unfolding within Rockstar’s studio, with the most possible location touted to be Vice City. This would make sense since Vice City is the franchise’s version of Miami, and Miami has been one of the most prominent cities where the drug trade is ubiquitous. There’s also the assumption floating around out there that “GTA 6” will have an NPC similar to the ones seen in “Red Dead Redemption 2.”
While this hasn’t been confirmed by the studio, it’s safe to assume that Rockstar will take some elements in “RDR2” and inject it in “GTA 6.” This is doubly true since the NPC of the recently released title is one of the most popular factors that contributed to the success of the game.
As for the release date of “GTA 6,” it’s being speculated that it will drop sometime between 2020 and 2022. Although fans are eagerly waiting for the sixth installment, they’re also willing to give Rockstar the time to polish the game to perfection. The developers certainly need to work on a lot of holes seen in “GTA 5” and write a story that is as compelling as the one seen in “RDR2.”
