“Goblin Slayer” Episode 3 is set to have the show’s main protagonists meet with three new characters. These characters will be known as Elf, Dwarf, and Lizardman, Otaku Art reported.
Following the events that occurred in the previous episode, Goblin Slayer’s encounter with the three newcomers will have him take on a contract that isn’t related to killing goblins. The seasoned veteran has a deep resentment for the small vicious creatures as their kind was responsible for killing his parents and his sister. After the brutal incident, the warrior picked up the sword and dedicated his life to eradicating goblins that are plaguing the region. But “Goblin Slayer” Episode 3 will have the stoic veteran divert from his cause and help the newcomers with their plight.
The party of three found the warrior by asking around in the quest-retrieval establishment. After their initial encounter, they conducted negotiations in a private chamber which Priestess wasn’t allowed to attend. In “Goblin Slayer” Episode 3, the three will explain that trouble is brewing in the capital as someone is resurrecting demons and stirring the activities of monsters.
The warrior declined the contract at first but after Lizardman expounded on the quest, he eventually agreed. It goes without saying that “Goblin Slayer” Episode 3 is going to be another dark tale, fraught with death and danger.
Those who watched the first episode of the series were quite shocked at the level of violence that is portrayed on the show. While most animes pander to the imagination of young audiences, “Goblin Slayer” features a lot of adult content that isn’t for the faint of heart. The warrior himself is depicted as someone who has succumbed to hatred, becoming a monster himself in order to deal with his seemingly unquenchable thirst for vengeance. Fans can expect more of this dark theme when “Goblin Slayer” Episode 3 airs on Oct. 20.
