“Grand Theft Auto V Online” has seen a lot of updates and expansions since its release. In fact, it’s pretty much the only part of the title that’s been getting expansions as of late, with the single-player mode getting no love. For the latest one, players will get the chance to become actual bikers and will even be able to form their own biker gang.
For those who remember playing the single player mode of “GTAV,” they will also remember the part where the game’s lovable psychopath “Trevor” single-handedly obliterated an entire biker gang. This time around, players of the online mode will be able to show those goons how a real biker club looks like thanks to the update aptly called “Bikers,” IGN reports.
This update actually came about as a result of players banding together to unanimously demand that Rockstar give them an update that is specifically related to bikes and bikers. It seems the company heard this loud cry from the fans and decided to give them what they wanted.
Details regarding the update itself can be found on the announcement that Rockstar posted on its website. The gist of it is that players will be able to form what’s called a “Motorcycle Club” and it can fit as many as 8 players.
Along with the club are a clubhouse, several new types of motorcycles, new properties to own, and even a custom mechanic that will give players all of the biker-related services that they need. Naturally, there are also additional business ventures that will be added to the online mode, all of which will be seedy and criminal in nature.
This adds yet another prospect to the online mode that will give players the chance to carve large chunks of the area for themselves. They’ll just need to fight other big crime bosses in order to do so.
