With “Grey's Anatomy” season 15's premiere episode broadcasting less than a month away, fans may be finding themselves wishing for specific stories that the show's upcoming two-hour special will answer in the wake of season 14's finale.
“Grey's Anatomy” season 15 has been described by its showrunner, Krista Vernoff, as “The Season of Love.” Fans can expect the show to further develop from “Grey's Anatomy”season 14's finale wedding for Justin Chambers' Alex Karev and Camilla Luddington's Jo Wilson. The two doctors' wedding was an eventful episode, with a lot of drama from previous storylines preceding the climactic event. Fans can probably expect the two-hour premiere episode to focus on how Alex and Jo will deal with the news about Jo's acceptance into Mass Gen's fellowship program after their wedding.
Vernoff's choice of words for “Grey's Anatomy” season 15's theme may also extend to Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) revealing her pregnancy during the series finale. With “Grey's Anatomy” welcoming Kim Raver back as a series regular compared to her previously recurring role, fans can expect to see the seeds of a storyline about Altman dealing with her pregnancy while being Grey Sloan Memorial's interim chief.
Aside from Raver's Altman making a steady comeback, the show is also welcoming “Nashville” star Chris Carmack as a recurring character in Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital's orthopedic department. Details about Carmack's new character have yet to be released but fans of his “Nashville” persona, Will Lexington, are hoping that he will be playing a role with similar depth to his character in the CMT musical drama series.
Chris Carmack's upcoming debut on the show isn't the only new thing that fans can speculate about. Fans can also look forward to the “Grey's Anatomy B-Team” cast possibly making bigger appearances in “Grey's Anatomy” season 15. Alex Blue Davis and Rushi Kota, who play Grey Sloan Memorial interns Casey Parker and Vik Roy, respectively, have been active on social media posting behind-the-scenes shots from “Grey's Anatomy” season 15 shoots.
