TAMPA, Fla., Nov. 28, 2016 -- Three Greystone Healthcare Management skilled nursing facilities have been named to the U.S. News & World Report list of Best Nursing Homes for 2016-17. The Club Health and Rehabilitation Center in The Villages, Lehigh Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lehigh Acres, and The Lodge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Ocala, are all located in Florida and represent 295 short- and long-term care beds.

The Greystone facilities are among 2,000 skilled nursing locations that earned the U.S. News designation from a pool of more than 15,000 centers nationwide. The ratings were based on data from Nursing Home Compare, a program run by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that sets and enforces standards for nursing homes.
The methodology used in this evaluation focused on key services and consistent performance in national quality measures. The facilities had to earn an average of 4.5 stars or better during the 12 months of federal reports ending in October 2016 and had to consistently meet certain performance standards set by U.S. News during the period, such as earning at least 4 stars in the CMS overall rating for all 12 months. Health inspections, nurse staffing, and medical quality measures were evaluated.
