NEW YORK, Feb. 29, 2016 -- Guggenheim Securities, the investment banking and capital markets division of Guggenheim Partners, announced today that Gunter Frangenberg will join the firm as a Senior Managing Director in the Industrials Group. Mr. Frangenberg will focus on advising companies in the chemicals sector, and will commence work at Guggenheim in July.
Mr. Frangenberg has over 15 years of advisory experience in the industrials sectors. He will be joining Guggenheim Securities from Jefferies Group, where he was a Managing Director and served as Americas Head of Chemicals Investment Banking. Prior to Jefferies, Mr. Frangenberg was a member of the Industrials groups at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Deutsche Bank.

Mr. Frangenberg earned his Ph.D. and JD in Law from Bonn University and his Masters in Law from Duke University.
