Data released so far -
- China - Industrial production grew 6% in July, lower than 6.8% in June on yearly basis. Urban investment growth dropped to 11.2% in July from 11.4% in June. Retail sales grew by 10.5% in July, weaker than 10.6% in June.
- Australia - Westpac consumer confidence index grew 7.8% for August. Wage price index rose by 0.6% q/q and 2.3% y/y in second quarter.
- Japan - Industrial production grew by 2.3% in June from a year ago, up 1.1% from May. Tertiary industry index rose by 0.3% in June from May.
- France - Current account balance came at € 1billion in June.
- Italy - Global trade balance came at €2.8 billion and €0.6 billion with EU.
- UK - Unemployment rate remained same at 5.6%. Average earnings including bonus grew by 2.4% in June, compared to 3.2% in May and excluding bonus came at 2.8%, same as prior.
- Euro zone - industrial production slowed to 1.2% y/y growth in June, compared to 1.6% in May.
- Switzerland - Zew survey expectations improved to 5.9 in August from -5.4 in July.
