Another day, another Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton rumor circulates in the tabloid cloud and gets repelled by factual reporting. This time, the debunking is with regards to the tabloid reports going around that the pair got married on the country singer’s farm in Oklahoma. This is simply not true and has been countered by other, more reputable publications.
As Gossip Cop notes, this new report about the Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton wedding on a ranch was made by the same tabloid that claimed a similar marriage story about the couple a few years ago. The fact of the matter is that the two did not get married then and they did not get married now. This makes the magazine’s cover headline “Gwen & Blake: Married On The Oklahoma Ranch!” completely false.
With regards to the details about the supposed Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton secret ceremony, the tabloid dreamt up a whole host of imagined scenes. It claimed that the wedding supposedly took place “six months ago.” It even claimed that the No Doubt singer’s family was “ferried by helicopter to Blake’s 2,000-acre hunting ranch” after they landed at the airport.
The salacious details of this most recent Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton rumor did not stop there either. Apparently, the same tabloid magazine printed that the country singer had asked permission from his ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, to marry his current girlfriend. Never mind the fact that this is completely bizarre, it’s a hugely unlikely scenario by any stretch of the imagination.
Suffice it to say, none of this is true and is just another Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton gossip piece meant to entice readers into buying something that is not even worth their time. As Inquistr points out, the couple has not even announced any engagement of any kind. In fact, their latest sightings in public seem to indicate that they are perfectly happy where they are.
