Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are once again the subjects of a report that was later labeled as an utter rumor. But, notably, the couple was given a break from the pregnancy and wedding gossips. This time, they are rumored to be working on their own TV show together.
Gossip Cop called out a report from Hollywood Life on Tuesday, labeling it “manufactured and false.” The latter previously claimed — based on statements from an unnamed tipster — that Stefani and Shelton could soon have their own TV show together whether as stars or producers. Hollywood Life did not specify the TV show genre but a reality show was one of the possibilities mentioned in its story.
“Blake and Gwen have so many outside obligations besides their singing careers, but they’d do [another show] because they are very interested in branching out to those other opportunities because it is fun and obviously lucrative,” a source reportedly said. The same report claimed that several production companies have reached out to Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton to pitch some reality-show ideas with them as the main stars, “but they don’t have much interest in that.”
Gossip Cop has refuted these claims after getting Stefani’s publicist to comment on Hollywood Life’s report. The celeb rumor fact-checking outlet said Stefani’s rep was not even aware of any TV deals in the works for both the artists, which implies that these claims are not real.
Doubts were also drawn from the fact that Hollywood Life had previously reported that Stefani and Shelton were supposedly calling off their engagement because of their already hectic work schedules, even without another TV show to worry about. Aside from coaching for “The Voice,” Shelton is often onstage for live concerts at major music festivals across the United States. Meanwhile, Stefani’s Las Vegas residency is also on a roll throughout the year. It was then reiterated by Gossip Cop that there seemed to be a conflict in the other publication’s reports.
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani became friends on the set of NBC’s “The Voice.” The two started dating in 2015 after they each got divorced. Since then, the two have seemed inseparable, going on vacation trips and even joining each other’s concerts on the road.
