There is no debating with the fact that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are one of the sweetest celebrity couples today. But a recent report is claiming that the country music star was compelled to marry the former No Doubt vocalist.
Despite their obvious love for one another, a report from The Globe is presenting their rumored wedding in Reno, Nevada as something that favored Stefani more than Shelton. The tabloid’s source claimed he only “gave in” to getting married because the “Hollaback Girl” singer was “really adamant” to make the union happen.
The source further insisted that Gwen Stefani warned Blake Shelton that the wedding should happen “now or never.” Fans of the couple would agree they have been showing the world how much they love each other through social media posts and songs they wrote for one another. But the same insider was suggesting that they had a different approach with the rumored Reno wedding.
Instead of having the people they love to witness them tie the knot, they allegedly chose to do it in their hotel room where the only other person present was the preacher. This is one point in the report that makes it doubtful, fact-checking media outlet Gossip Cop pointed out. Note that Nevada laws indicate that at least one witness is required to be present to attest to the ceremony.
This is not the first time Shelton and Stefani were hit with wedding rumors. Earlier this year, various reports also claimed that the couple secretly tied the knot at Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch. But none of it really panned out to be truthful.
In fact, the couple discussed the topic of marriage because of these rumors. And while no one has proposed yet, both Shelton and Stefani are open to tying the knot in the future.
On the other hand, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are also allegedly pushing their plans in having a baby together. Us Weekly reported that they are finalizing the arrangements in choosing the surrogate for their baby.
