With the show’s ninth season already done, fans are eagerly awaiting any news about “Hawaii Five-0” Season 10 to come out. It was already noted that the script for the series is being written, but if speculations are true, production could begin in July. This would then mean that the writing is already done and the story for the upcoming season has already been polished.
For some context, the previous seasons of the show have often started shooting right around the start of summer, CarterMatt reports. This means that filming for “Hawaii Five-0” Season 10 could start around the same time, as well. If this turns out to be the case, then fans can expect the series to return sometime around the middle of next year.
A lot of this is due to CBS likely salivating at the thought of getting more episodes out of the show. Its ratings have been fairly high, and the network is a sucker for that kind of performance. With this being the case, “Hawaii Five-0” Season 10 will likely come with over 20 segments for viewers to devour.
As to what the story is going to be, there isn’t a lot of information on that front. However, there have been some reports that Alex O'Loughlin will start playing a less prominent role. That is to say, there have been rumors that fans will be seeing less of Steve McGarrett in “Hawaii Five-0” Season 10. This isn’t the first time that a cast member has decided to get less screen time on the series.
However, Steve is one of the founding members of the show. If he becomes less of a central figure in “Hawaii Five-0” Season 10, what could this mean for the series? The stories will still likely be good, but it is the characters that the fans have become attached to.
