“Hawaii Five-0” Season 9 production is already underway and fans couldn’t wait what’s in store for the show’s major characters. Speaking of major characters, followers of the show shouldn’t be worried about Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan since they will definitely be included in this next installment, CarterMatt reported.
Fans have been anxious that both O’Loughlin and Caan might not appear in “Hawaii Five-0” Season 9 since the duo were a no-show at the traditional Hawaiian blessing held this week. The celebration often marks the show’s next season with Alex O’Loughlin and Scott Caan attending the kick off in the past.
The reason for their absence is because they were simply not on the island at the time. This was confirmed by a tweet from the show’s executive producer, Peter M. Lenkov. Meanwhile, the cast of the police procedural hit series who were on the island, gearing up to start filming for the “Hawaii Five-0” Season 9.
Lenkov said that they’re kicking off the next installment by filming the third episode. While this may confuse those who aren’t included in the series’ development, filming out of order isn’t unusual and other shows have been doing this for quite some time.
There are varying reasons for this such as location availability and scheduling of the cast. Indeed, O’Loughlin and Caan not being on the island yet might be one of the reasons they’re filming out of order. Also, Lenkov announced that Eddie the Dog will be returning on “Hawaii Five-0” Season 9 to the delight of all animal lovers following the show.
Going back to Alex O’Loughlin, the lead actor’s contract is about to expire and no renewal has yet been announced. However, fans need not worry as all signs are pointing that he’s definitely going to be included in “Hawaii Five-0” Season 9 since the show is picking up where it left off in its eighth installment.
