“Hitman 2” is close to being released to the greater gaming community and its launch date is going to be one for the history books. This is because one of the elusive targets of the game will be played by Sean Bean himself. This means that players will be able to do to the actor what has already been done to him in many of his movies.
It has become a running joke on the internet that Sean Bean dies in a lot of his movies. In fact, many have come to expect that if the actor is in a movie, he is going to get snuffed one way or another. This is why the reveal trailer for “Hitman 2” is so mind-blowing in that it actually features the movie icon as a target for the players.
The clip shows Sean Bean as Mark Faba and he is absolutely perfect in the role. He exudes an almost otherworldly confidence as he dares the organization to send their best to take him out. The “Hitman 2” trailer also pays homage to the many creative ways that players could potentially take him out. This makes the character the perfect Elusive Target, of which he will be the first.
As Polygon notes, Mark Faba has also earned the nickname “The Undying” due to the fact that he keeps on faking his own death and turning up alive at a later time. Suffice it to say, players can expect him to be a rather tricky target to kill and will need to be particularly creative in how they can take him out. It’s even quite possible that he could just pretend to be dead, thus leading to a mission failure in “Hitman 2.”
“Hitman 2” is scheduled to launch on Nov. 20. Fans of the first game will not want to miss out on this one.
