CHARLOTTE, N.C., July 26, 2017 -- The Holiday Inn Charlotte Center City hotel, located in the heart of Uptown and Charlotte’s Business and Entertainment District, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kat Wrona to Wedding Specialist.
The recently renovated Holiday Inn Charlotte Center City surpasses far beyond traditional southern hospitality. The hotel staff is devoted to its engaged couples and strives to make each event a memorable experience, and is certain Kat will exceed expectations in her new position.
"We're confident that Kat’s experience, strong leadership and dedicated work ethic will be an excellent addition to our team," said Jami Horton Hill, Director of Sales and Marketing at the Property. "We know all couples will enjoy working with her to plan their special day here at the Holiday Inn Charlotte Center City."
After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management from Mercyhurst University in 2013, Kat started her career at the five-star Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in Western Pennsylvania. Her dedication to the job led to her receiving the resort’s Above the Line Award in 2014 for going above and beyond in her role.
Kat discovered her passion for weddings when she began working at Snowshoe Mountain Resort in West Virginia, where she helped revamp their wedding standard. Her organizational skills, focus and creativity ultimately led her to her new position of Wedding Specialist at the Holiday Inn Charlotte Center City hotel.
From the initial planning stages to the day of the wedding, Kat will cater to the couple’s every need—she will walk through every detail surrounding the special day, including a bridal luncheon, rehearsal dinner, reception, accommodations for the bride and groom, wedding party, and out of town guests.
In her free time, Kat enjoys spending time with her family and her puppy. Her favorite quote is, “You will never influence the world by trying to be like it.” Kat prides herself on creating a unique wedding experience for every couple she works with.
When planning your Holiday Inn Charlotte Center City wedding, choose from two beautiful venues, the spectacular ballroom or the one-of-a-kind rooftop rotunda. Located on the hotel’s 15th floor, the rotunda offers a panoramic view of the Charlotte skyline, creating the perfect backdrop for an enchanting event. All catering is exclusively provided by the award-winning Caffe Siena Restaurant, located onsite.
