With so much waiting the fans have to do, it is with no doubt that the excitement and hype over the comeback of a new season of 'House of Cards' is so palpable. The hit TV series was greatly received by many that the fans are raving more clues and spoilers for the upcoming episode which will be aired tomorrow. So if you are one of those fans then read on for possible spoilers are lurking in this article.
First of is the status of Frank and Claire's relationship. Clearly, we saw how Claire made a difficult decision of finally leaving Frank. One of the tragedies of their relationship is that Frank and Claire seem to genuinely care for each other; deep beneath their well of resentment and bare-knuckle death matches, each wants the other to succeed (as long as it suits the other's present desire). As the new season opens, we're less wrapped up in their mess, although they continue to take "It's complicated" to soaring new and sometimes delicious heights.
Meanwhile, the main thing that will surely get even bigger on the next season is obviously the subject of politics. So things will be more exciting for Frank then.
And as usual, with new season comes new characters to welcome to the group. We will be seeing a lot of new faces in the upcoming episode. This season the new additions are led by Neve Campbell (Scream) who showcases the most staying power as Leann Harvey, a headstrong political consultant caught in the Underwood’s cutthroat battle.
The Oscar-winning Ellen Burstyn takes on a meaty role as Claire’s formidable mother while The Help’s Cicely Tyson adds spark to the otherwise banal Texan congresswoman Doris Jones. Joel Kinnaman also makes an appearance.
And lastly, if there are new ones then obviously there will be old familiar faces returning. Returning regulars naturally include Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly) and former White House Chief of Staff, Remy Danton (Mahershala Ali) but intriguingly the first six episodes feature two reappearances you certainly won’t be expecting.
Stay tuned for more updates and watch out as House of Cards Season 4 begins streaming on Netflix Friday March 4.
